White & Silver

Round white pendant with spiral texture. The pendant is not painted - just varnished, and hangs on the silverplated chain. Simple design - not very like me I guess - since I always try to complicate my jewellery - to add that "my touch" to them...

In this pendant "my touch" would be the spiral pattern. I made that texturizer once to practice hidden magic technique with polymer clay... For that I have found better ways for now :-)

Handmade Buttons

Thanks to this new found button passion of mine I have started to make amends with polymer clay again. I had thought I have lost all control over this material for good, and nothing will ever again come out as pretty as I wish for... That is why I moved on to moddelling clay that has complitely other feel and techniques.

Recently I have started to take notice of handmade buttons everywhere. Weather polymer clay or ceramic - I like them! There are so many different styles and fantasy of the button artists seems to be endless... And of course it is always inspiring to view other peoples creations... So I figured I give it a try myself. The result:

Nine small polymer clay buttons with abstract pattern. Take a closer look at my shop.

Light Blue Choker

This light blue choker is first of it's kind among my crochet close fit necklaces because it is complitely metal free. I didn't use any metal comonents here - even the clasp has been replaced with ribbon.

The reason for experimenting like this is very simple - lot's of people I have met in this past few years while I have created jewellery have metal allergies. Most of them can wear silver and gold - true. But while I'm still thinking about silversmithing I thought I might spend some time with inventing ways around using metals at all...

Black and White Spiral Bracelet and Polymer Clay

Black and white together are just so beautiful. Even though when working with polymer clay it is mostly about colors - I sometimes like to play with the concept of leaving the colors out complitely.
