New jewelry gift box design

This is what my new jewelry boxes look like - nice gray and red floral pattern all over. The contact info is inside the lid. I have also added a small matching card to the set (it is blank, and you can use it for your good wishes if used as a gift).

Although this would work well as gift box, I originally had only very practical intentions for it. So that my jewelry would stay intact when in the mail.

Light green clip-on earrings.

Now here is something new. A pair of clip-on earrings. I think this is the very first pair of clip-on earrings I have ever made!

They are made of hand painted clay discs. Varnished with clear waterproof varnish and measure 0.7 inches.

Large purple and yellow boho earrings

These purple earrings are 2.3'' (6cm) long. The  pendant is hand made and painted. The base material is air dry clay. I have used various painting techniques here combined to get this truly unique abstract pattern. I'm pretty sure that I could not repeat the design :-)

Inspiration Fom Nature

My most recent favorite theme is inspired by nature. This jewelry collection features all the wonderful shades of greens and grays and a minimalist leaf motif. Circular clay pendants are light and feel natural. I have already listed few of my leaf themed jewelry in my Etsy shop.

Something sunny for the rainy day - yellow dangle earrings with cat silhouette. I think my own favorite color combination here is the warm juicy yellow with light gray. Maybe I should try and make one pair with yellow cat and gray background too...?!

Green Leaf Earrings

I guess we all wait for the spring here - thus it seems that it always takes so long for it to get here. This year I have come up with this new earrings design in order to celebrate my favorite season. It is inspired by natures colors - greens from plants, and white and gray from stones. I use my favorite - air dry moddelling clay for the the pendant which I then paint with acrylic paints. I mix the tones carefully to get this soft nature-like look.

To me earrings are complitely finished when they are worn. It is then when they show their true beauty and purpouse. That is why I always like it when I can actually see my earrings on their new owner. When selling on fairs it is sometimes possible to see people to try them on, but when selling online... I sometimes wish that people would send me more appreciation photos, but that is very rare :D
