Something sunny for the rainy day - yellow dangle earrings with cat silhouette. I think my own favorite color combination here is the warm juicy yellow with light gray. Maybe I should try and make one pair with yellow cat and gray background too...?!

Green Leaf Earrings

I guess we all wait for the spring here - thus it seems that it always takes so long for it to get here. This year I have come up with this new earrings design in order to celebrate my favorite season. It is inspired by natures colors - greens from plants, and white and gray from stones. I use my favorite - air dry moddelling clay for the the pendant which I then paint with acrylic paints. I mix the tones carefully to get this soft nature-like look.

To me earrings are complitely finished when they are worn. It is then when they show their true beauty and purpouse. That is why I always like it when I can actually see my earrings on their new owner. When selling on fairs it is sometimes possible to see people to try them on, but when selling online... I sometimes wish that people would send me more appreciation photos, but that is very rare :D
